    Blue flag is native to North America, in the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada. It is common in sedge meadows, marshes, and along streambanks and shores.

    Blooms range from light to deep blue and purple reflecting its name, versicolor meaning “variously colored.”

    Other common names include Northern Blue Flag and Harlequin Blue Flag.

Online purchases reserve plants for on-site pick-up only. We are located at W6628 Patchin Road in Wyocena, Wisconsin - about a half hour north of Madison.
